Details
Emotional resilience comes down to how quickly we recover from frustration, disappointment, lost, and other unpleasant experiences. People who are highly resilient and bounce back right away, learned how to do so. This is not an inborn quality.
Resilience is a skill that can be develop over time with practice. It is like a muscle. It requires very ordinary processes, which with guidance, could be achieved, if the participants have the willingness to learn. Self-management skills have the potential to positively impact the quality of life of individuals as they progress through life and increase resilience. People who understand themselves well, and who understand how to relate to and connect with others, tend to be happier, be more self-confident, more productive, and have healthy and rich relationships throughout their lives.
This program is based on the Genos Emotional Intelligence Leadership Competence Model, developed from over a decade of research examining how effective leaders use emotional intelligence abilities to build resilience.
The model comprises six emotionally intelligent workplace competencies. These competencies represent skills and behaviours based on underlying abilities and experiences that are measurable, observable, and critical to successful job performance.

For instance, Inspiring Performance is important in leadership because:
