Improve your team members’ level of engagement and motivation by creating a culture of shared beliefs and values.

One day facilitated course to help the leaders of your organisation identify the organisation's core values, define the vision and purpose, and learn methods to implement the refreshed core ideology into their organisation.

An organisation’s core ideology is the sum of purpose, mission, vision and the carefully chosen core values which determine the “invisible rules” by which everyone is adjusting their attitudes and behaviour.

Your organisation’s Core Ideology is the glue that holds your company together as it grows and diversifies. Employees at every level of your organisation must know that at the heart of what they do is something relevant and meaningful that consistently anchors their daily attitudes and behaviours leading to increased performance and work satisfaction.

What to Expect

Step 1: Initial Connection

Reach out to Camelia Petrus, PGDip Organisational Psychology, at [email protected] to schedule a phone call. This initial call is an opportunity for us to connect, understand your specific needs, and explore how we can collaborate effectively. If you're located outside of Auckland, we can arrange a virtual meeting. During our discussion, we'll delve into your work, history, objectives, measures of success, and the value you aim to achieve. This information allows us to create a tailored proposal that aligns with your goals. You can expect to receive the proposal promptly after we complete this step.

Step 2: Proposal Delivery

Once we've reached an agreement, we'll proceed to select a date and venue for your organisation's exciting day-out session focused on developing the Core Ideology. The best part is that I'll travel to your chosen venue anywhere in New Zealand, and I always welcome the opportunity to work in different locations.

Step 3 (Bonus): Emotional Culture Assessment

Understanding that we can only address what we're aware of, we employ the Emotional Culture Index (ECI) to capture the emotions experienced by your staff members at work. This comprehensive survey measures various dimensions, including stress levels, support, confidence, and more. It provides valuable insights into the emotional climate within your organisation, capturing thoughts and feelings that may otherwise go unnoticed. All team members will have the opportunity to participate, offering their perspectives on the workplace atmosphere. Once the survey is complete, we'll provide you with a feedback report and schedule a discussion to delve deeper into the findings.

Step 4: Pre-work Assignment

Two weeks before the Organisation's Core Ideology Development Session, all participants will receive a pre-work assignment. This will involve a series of thought-provoking questions and prompts aimed at stimulating reflection on the purpose, vision, mission, and, most importantly, the core values of your organisation.

Step 5: Core Ideology Development

The eagerly anticipated event will take place at the agreed-upon time, date, and location. As your facilitator, I'll guide the process of developing your organisation's core ideology, highlighting the profound influence core values have on attitudes and behaviours. Through engaging activities and brainstorming sessions, every participant will have the opportunity to contribute. Together, we'll articulate your organisation's purpose, vision, mission, and a set of meaningful core values with well-defined definitions. Additionally, we'll explore strategies to ensure widespread adoption of your new core ideology. Following the session, you'll receive our detailed notes, outcomes, and a template for your Core Ideology Poster, which can be proudly displayed in your premises and on digital platforms.

Step 6 (Post-Session): Implementation Planning Following the session, you'll receive our detailed notes, outcomes, and a template for your Core Ideology Poster, which can be proudly displayed in your premises and on digital platforms. We understand that implementing your new Core Ideology is crucial for long-term success. In this step, we'll work closely with you to create a customised implementation plan. This plan will outline specific actions, responsibilities, and timelines to ensure the seamless integration of your Core Ideology into your organisation's daily operations. Our goal is to help you turn your Core Ideology into a living, breathing part of your workplace culture, driving positive change and inspiring your team.

Step 7: Follow-up Assessment

Approximately six months after implementing your Core Ideology, we'll conduct a follow-up test to assess its impact on your organisation and its culture. During this stage, we expect that you will have established guidelines for the desired attitudes and behaviours in your workplace. Additionally, we offer optional staff training to support this process. By administering the Emotional Culture survey once again, we'll be able to measure the effect of the Core Ideology, gaining insights into any shifts or improvements in your organisation's culture.
