Workplace Behaviour EQ Assessments

Details

We use the 360 or 180 Genos Emotionally Intelligent Workplace Behaviour survey to measure how well an individual demonstrates emotionally intelligent workplace behaviours. The better they demonstrate the behaviours measured, the more effective their relationships and work performance is, the more positive their influence is on the emotional climate at work. In the workplace, a significant difference to the emotional climate, is made by the employees’ (lack or sufficiency of) emotional intelligence reflected in their self-awareness, compassion, empathy, motivation, leadership, and resilience. In today’s work context constant change is the norm we need to permanently adapt. Emotional intelligence becomes fundamental to our success.

There is high value of having highly emotionally intelligent employees make up your workforce if you want a competitive advantage in this highly competitive business world.

Assessing the Emotional Quotient (EQ) in Workplace Behaviour

EQ is defined as a set of competencies demonstrating the ability to recognise own behaviours, moods, and reactions or impulses, and to manage them best according to the situation.

The Emotionally Intelligent Workplace Behaviour assessment measures how well the person demonstrates emotionally intelligent workplace behaviours in comparison to others (self-assessment) or according to the feedback provided by their managers or colleagues (180 or 360 assessment).

The feedback report indicates the areas for improvement and where training would be beneficial to the person.

The competencies of the model below illustrate the key competencies being measured (in the middle column). The productive states are listed on the right side of the model, while the unproductive (or counterproductive) states on the left.
